To help clients manage distributors and resellers more effectively, we're introducing improvements to the Credit Limit and Suspension features. This update will expand these features to support all types of distributors (SPOS, WPOS, API) as well as Resellers.

✨ What's New:

Suspend Distributor: Our aim is to provide a feature, that allows our clients to temporarily halt the selling activities of an agent while retaining access to historical data and login capabilities. This feature ensures a temporary pause in sales operations without restricting the agent's ability to review past activities or utilize other platform functionalities.
Suspend Reseller: The suspend reseller feature works the same way as the suspend distributor feature. When a reseller is suspended, their selling capability is blocked.

🛠️ Improvements:

Credit limit feature for Distributors & Resellers: In this release we improved our already existing credit limit feature, fixing some usability bugs and issues with the validation of the credit limit.

📖 How to:

1. Suspend Distributor

To suspend an agent account as an Admin user, navigate to the Channels/Agents tab in the navigation menu.

In this tab, select the agent you want to suspend and click the three dots on the right side of the list. A dropdown will appear with the "Suspend" option.

After clicking "Suspend," a confirmation pop-up will appear. Clicking "Cancel" closes the pop-up without suspending the account. Clicking "Confirm" suspends the agent account, confirmed by a notification in the top right corner and the account status changing from "Active" to "Suspended" in the list.

2. Errors for a suspended account

Depending on the type of agent suspended, different errors may appear on the front end when a booking is attempted.

2.1 Sales Portal, Host app and CPOS
The indication that an account is prohibited from making sales appears only at the end of the sales process. If a user attempts to make a booking on a suspended portal, they will see the following error.

A notification will appear in the top right corner of the screen, providing brief details on why the booking can't be made.

2.2 Widgets and Websites
For direct end-customer-facing solutions, like websites and widgets, a slightly different error message will be shown. Instead of the product page, a placeholder page will appear, suggesting temporary maintenance, whenever the customer attempts to start the sales flow.

3. Restore Distributor

To reactivate a suspended account, follow the restoration process to grant the agent full selling privileges again.

Navigate to the Channels/Agents list, find the agent with a "Suspended" status, and click the three dots on the right side of the list.

In the dropdown menu, you'll now see the option "Restore" instead of "Suspend." Clicking "Restore" prompts a confirmation.
If you click "Cancel," the pop-up closes and the account remains suspended. To restore the account, click "Confirm." Once confirmed, the pop-up closes, and a message will appear in the top right corner stating "Account has been restored."
The account status will change to "Active," allowing the account to be used for sales again. This process applies to all distributor types.

4. Reseller Partner

To suspend a reseller partner, navigate to the Channels/Partners/Resellers list and open the menu by clicking the three dots at the end of the row.

The system will prompt for confirmation; click "Yes, suspend" in the pop-up.
When a reseller partner is suspended, users will encounter the same error messages and warnings during the sales process, as detailed above. The suspended status will also be reflected in the reseller list by a red triangle next to the reseller in the "Status" column.

To restore a suspended reseller partner, navigate to the same menu used for suspension and click on the "Restore" option.

When the system asks for confirmation, click "Yes, restore." After that, the reseller partner will be able to sell tickets again.

5. How to set credit limit on Distributor

To set up a credit limit for a distributor, navigate to the Channels/Agents list and open the settings for the distributor.

Navigate to the “Credit limit” tab.

On this screen, a maximum amount can be set, determining the limit the distributor can sell before being suspended for reaching the credit limit.
If a trigger amount and an email are set, the system will send a notification when the distributor reaches the configured trigger.
The balance field shows the distributor's current balance, with an option to top up using the "Add amount" button next to the field.
If the distributor reaches the credit limit, a toast message will appear when they attempt to finalize the sale on the checkout screen.

6. How to set credit limit on Reseller

To set up a credit limit for a reseller, navigate to the Channels/Partners/Resellers list, click the three-dot menu, and select "Credit Limit."

In the pop-up, the maximum credit limit for the reseller can be configured, which determines the amount they can sell before the system blocks further sales. If a trigger amount and email are set, the system will send a notification email to the specified address when the credit limit is reached.

To add additional balance to the reseller, click "Add amount" and enter the desired balance. This amount will be added to the reseller's "Current balance."

❓ FAQ:

[Question]: Can a suspended Distributor log-in to Prioticket?
[Answer]: Yes, both resellers and distributors can still log in to Prioticket and view products, activity overviews, etc. The only restrictions are on the sales and amendment processes.
[Question]: Can I suspend the log-in capability of a distributor if I want to?
[Answer]: Not with this new feature. To temporarily "ban" a distributor from logging in, use the user settings to change the password of the user.
